My Place in Cornwall was created by Lisa Arcari who spent her childhood living in Cornwall. After living in London developing her career in property development, she moved back to Cornwall in 2000 to start a family and to continue with her business. Becoming more and more frustrated with the lack of services on offer in the area, Lisa saw a gap in the market for a dedicated lettings agent with a hands on approach. After carrying out vital market research and creating a fresh brand identity, Lisa launched My Place in Cornwall in February 2009 and hasn’t looked back since!

The team at My Place in Cornwall have all been tenants and landlords themselves and therefore have first hand experience in all aspects of residential lettings and a good knowledge of the local area.

As more and more people choose to let their homes, we saw a distinct gap in the market for an agency that was completely customer focused and was able to provide a more extensive range of services to the client. Many of the agencies in the local areas were simply extensions of estate agencies whose main focus will always be residential sales and our research uncovered that the systems they operated were out of date and often not providing the best service to the customer. And so My Place in Cornwall was born!

Our website is often the first port of call for many customers and it has been designed with them in mind. Here they will find up-to-date information and images as well as floor plans all backed by an integrated back office system which means that we are able to keep all of our customers up to date in a way that suits their lifestyle.
